Meet Jesse Vezina

Someone once told me that the key to happiness is to find something that you love to do, and then find a way to make a career out of it. That is what I have done. I became interested in sports at a young age. I started playing soccer when I was in Kindergarten and I have never looked back. Throughout the years, I have competed in just about every major sport. No matter which sport, I found the harder I worked in the gym and at practice, the better I would perform on the field.
I started my college career as a biology major (with a focus on human anatomy) at the University of Illinois at Springfield. After a few years, I decided that I needed to find something that would allow me to become more active. I transferred to the University of Tampa to finish my education and earned a B.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in Adult Fitness. While there, I worked with their strength and conditioning coach, who trained 4 national championship teams.
After graduating, I decided to move back to Illinois to be near my friends and family. That is when I heard about Body Symmetry. After my first visit, I knew it would be a great fit for me. This was a place where I could practice what I love while continuing to learn about all the new advancements in the fitness field.
I believe we are all capable of achieving our goals as long as we are willing to put forth the effort, both in the gym and in all other aspects of our lives.
